When it comes to curly hair it’s not as simple it looks. The effortless texture. The volume. The frizz free control. This is a routine that took years to uncover and perfect. Buzz kill, it’s still not perfect so lets not make that the goal.
From products that didn’t resolve a thing to products that drowned my hair it gunk. It has been a trial and error. In the curl game we all need advice from our fellow curly sisters. It’s a game we are all trying to win. But sometimes frizz is inevitable and honestly there is nothing wrong with a little of it, but curly hair needs extra help to lock in moisture and prevent fly aways.
The curls are curling. They swerve and bend and lock in and out. With all this movement curly hair tangles. To prevent nasty nests of hair, my number one recommendation is using a leave in conditioner and brushing it through. And in between washes dampening the hair with a continuous spray bottle to detangle with a detangling brush and reset the curls.
