Caring for Hair Your Up in the Air

"Hope you got your beauty sleep up in the air, you're ready for landing and to begin your holiday, fresh hair and all."

"I got that summertime, summertime sadness." Lana Del Rey was talking about "airplane hair" in her song Summertime Sadness right? To all my Lana's please don't be sad. Whether you are traveling to Europe or Miami for some warm holiday vibes, in-flight hair doesn't have to be a thing anymore. I'm sharing my in-flight trick and I promise you your hair could look better than before you took off.

It is time to test your braiding skills. I like to do two simple pig tail braids, one on each side or you can simplify and do one braid. Before I braid away, I use Crown Affairs The Oil. You can also use your personal favorite oil of course. Just like your skin, your hair also suffers from the drying air of the plane, so coating your locks with extra hydration is key for airplane travel. Once you’ve applyed the oil, begin braiding. I usually do this in my seat before taking off. I secure my braids with either the Crown Affair hair clips or the silk scunchie. You can also be extra prepared if you have the time and prep the hair before arriving to the airport. Before landing or upon arrival undo the braids to reveal beautiful waves. Hope you got your beauty sleep up in the air, you're ready to begin your holiday, fresh hair and all.
