Science Class But for Hair

"I was experimenting which is one of my favorite things to do with hair because if it works, I discover a lifelong routine I can rely on for quick styling."

Out of pure instinct I braided my wet hair post shower before going to bed one night. I'm trying not to wash my hair everyday, so this I guessed would ensure an even pattern of waves to wakeup to in the morning. When I say I guessed, I mean I wasn't sure if the braids would produce a funky jagged texture or not. I was experimenting which is one of my favorite things to do with hair because if it works, I discover a lifelong routine I can rely on for quick styling.

It is important to note, I also did not put any product in my hair post conditioning which makes this discovery all the more economic. I simply put my hair in two pigtail braids loosely starting slightly above my ears on each side, laying in front of my shoulders. I woke up, pigtail braids dry and felt pretty cute. The braids held after a full night of sleep. My hair wasn't in a messy bun like usual.

Before unraveling, I sprayed the braids all over with Briogeo leave-in mask. As I unwrapped the first braid I was amazed. Waves with no frizz and took barely anytime to create. Just a quick braiding before my head hit the pillow for a night of sleep! My experiment was successful and is officially a new part of my hair styling routine.
